PodiumOS is an identity and commerce layer for sim racing: one verified account that carries a driver's racing hours across home rigs, venues, coaches and leagues, with a wallet, loyalty programme and marketplace on top.
Racer accounts are free forever. You only pay when you buy something — a venue session, a coaching lesson, a setup or gear. Coaches and merchants pay a platform fee on completed sales only, plus payment processing at cost.
Four ways: automatically via the SimHub plugin, automatically via the PodiumOS Windows agent, by venue check-in at a partner sim centre, or by peer confirmation. Every session records whether it was auto-verified, venue-verified, peer-verified or unverified.
Rig Intelligence fingerprints the physical hardware behind every session — CPU, GPU, wheelbase, pedals, seat and displays — so laps can be compared like-for-like. Rig data belongs to the racer and public or anonymised sharing is opt-in and revocable.
The Podium Wallet holds real money used to pay for bookings, coaching and marketplace purchases. Octane Points are a separate non-monetary loyalty currency earned through activity and redeemed for status, access and discounts. They are not interchangeable and Octane Points are never cash.
Yes, from age 5, under a verified guardian. Minors never hold a wallet balance or receive a payout, are never put through identity or biometric checks, and every coach, booking and data grant needs guardian approval.
For cross-border sales PodiumOS is the seller of record to the buyer: we calculate and remit VAT, GST and sales tax in the buyer's country and absorb refunds and chargebacks, so an individual coach or creator is never filing tax in a country they have never visited.
Public launch is October 2026 at the SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt. The platform has been in development since 2024 and sign-ups are open now.
